The value of AI in the public sector emerges not from its autonomy but from how it integrates with the foundational rails of Digital Public Infrastructure. ## Three Core Elements ### 1. DPI Workflows - Definition: Structured, rule-based sequences of steps connecting AI Blocks, DPI systems, and human oversight - Role: The orchestration layer — the "recipe" that combines AI Block "ingredients" into services - Key property: AI operates INSIDE workflows, never outside them.
